My client is a rapidly growing family owned national drinks distributor and specialist retailer. With a presence throughout the UK they are looking to expand their current account base, predominantly with a focus on selling into the on-trade channel in London. Responsible for some of the largest and well-know alcoholic drinks brands in the UK my client is looking to increase their market share and build on their rapid growth currently seen year on year. Description
The Field Sales Manager is an opportunity to further your understanding of sales management with responsibility for a team of field sales executives in the London territory. Your team of sales execs will be selling alcoholic drinks into the on-trade channel in London. A key part of the role will involve supporting your team by building relationships with major customers and taking ownership of the commercial relationship to continue driving the success of the brand. This is a field-based role that will require you to spend time developing productive relationships, negotiating range, pricing and promotions with distributors to optimise sales.
Profile
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Field sales management experience
- Previous experience/knowledge in the drinks industry
- Proven track record in account management, ideally within the FMCG sector
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Essential to obtain the WSET Level 2 qualification
- Full drivers license
Job Offer
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE + Additional benefits
