Paul Nyman Consultancy are working with a branded FMCG business to recruit a Business Team Manager across multiple channels to cover the Midlands area.

About The Business

As a leader in their field our client is home to multiple well-known brands which can be found in homes across the country. A recent investment in innovation has set them up for a long term push in a category that is and will continue to go through some big changes over the next few years. The business services customers across retail, impulse, wholesale and foodservice customers and has ambitions of driving their sales in these channels to over £200M with this role will play a key part in delivering this.

About The Role

Our client are seeking to appoint a Business Team Manager to manage both accounts and people across the Wholesale, Impulse and Foodservice channels. From a customer perspective you will be directly responsible for an 8 figure P&L on key customers within the Midlands area (from Birmingham across to Leicester down to Milton Keynes) whilst managing a team of Regional Account Managers and BDM’s. The position is field based with regular travel to other parts of the UK and group head office on a regular basis.

About You

  • You will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in an FMCG commercial management role within national customers at a head office level
  • A background within a branded environment would be an advantage
  • You will have the ability to pull together sales and marketing levers to deliver innovative results for customers
  • Your CV will need to demonstrate 2 years+ of man management experience
  • A business related degree is a requirement for our client
  • Ideally based in the Birmingham, Leicester or Milton Keynes areas
