Job Details
The Role:
Opportunity for an experienced National Account Manager or Key Account Manager within food service, to join a well-established blue chip manufacturer in North England. This will be working within a branded environment in a fast moving category. This office based role is ideal for an individual who understands wholesale food service inside out, with experience working with blue chip and branded manufacturers within FMCG.
Candidate Requirements:
• Must possess several years of commercial experience and national account management of major food wholesale accounts. E.g Brakes, Bidvest, Country Range etc
• Working for a manufacturer would be preferred.
• An experience with branded products would be advantageous also but not a necessity.
• An entrepreneurial mind-set, with a very driven and focussed attitude.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eye for detail, and great numerical skills
• Strong relationship builder
Key Responsibilities:
• The successful candidate will play an important role in providing account management to major wholesalers within food service.
• To build effective external relationships, present new product ideas, whilst exceeding sales and margin into a particular category.
• Working closely with other functions internally and externally to exploit key opportunities including NPD, Marketing, Production etc.
• Weekly analysis and forecasting
The Package:
• Up to £50,000 basic salary dependent upon experience
• Bonus
