Territory Sales Manager responsible for a team of Field Sales Executives selling into the on-trade channel in London.

My client is a rapidly growing family owned national drinks distributor and specialist retailer. With a presence throughout the UK they are looking to expand their current account base, predominantly with a focus on selling into the on-trade channel in London. Responsible for some of the largest and well-know alcoholic drinks brands in the UK my client is looking to increase their market share and build on their rapid growth currently seen year on year. Description

The On-trade Territory Sales Manager is an opportunity to further your understanding of sales management with responsibility for a team of field sales executives in the London territory. A key part of the role will involve maintaining and building relationships with major customers and taking ownership of the commercial relationship to continue driving the success of the brand. This is a field-based role that will require you to spend time developing productive relationships, negotiating range, pricing and promotions with distributors to optimise sales.

Profile

The On-trade Territory Sales Manager will ideally have a minimum of one to two years' experience working in a similar role, ideally within the drinks industry. The candidate must demonstrate a high standard of sales management, organisational and communication skills. Resilience, hunger, a strong knowledge of the drinks industry and proving to have an excellent commercial eye are also essential skills required to fulfil this role successfully. You must have a proven track record in sales and account management, ideally within the FMCG sector. It is essential to have achieved the WSET Level 2 qualification to be considered for this role.

Job Offer

Salary: Circa £30,000 - £35,000 + OTE and other benefits.
