We need an exceptional Demand Planner and Data Analyst, who will primarily be responsible for the production of all Childs Farm products. This will involve analyzing various sets of data including EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) data, retailer depot demand trends, retailer stock holding, seasonality trends and promotion demand trends by account in order to produce accurate demand forecasts. These will not only drive production but also the componentry requirements to achieve this and ultimately feed into a cash flow forecast. They will work with the Supply Chain Manager to develop and optimize the current forecasting tools to achieve optimum stock holdings.

Coordinate month end stock counts to reconcile variances and update the forecast model to reflect updated stock positions.

Building personal relationships by engaging on and off site with all Suppliers as well as Customers is imperative;

They will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to capture any demand changes and this cross departmental function will be a key responsibility to maintain accurate forecasting.

Being a small business cash is key. A close relationship with the finance team to manage cashflow expectations will be essential. A breadth of experience across FMCG demand planning will be vital in ensuring that they can get up and running quickly.

Applicants must have:

  •  Experience in working in an SME environment would be beneficial
  • Advanced Excel skills for data collection/analysis
  • Stand out proven experience and successes of demand planning in an FMCG environment
  • Excellence in customer service, communication and support
