Key Account Manager – Ingredients – Foodservice / Wholesale / Cash & Carry
£35,000, company car, bonus, pension and 25 days holiday
Reporting into the UK Head of Sales, the Key Account Manager will be working for one of the UK’s fastest growing ingredients manufacturers, supplying a range of innovative new products through 3 strategically linked businesses. Renowned for being passionate innovators, this company provide a unique solution that delivers better taste, nutrition, convenience and value.
This business is currently growing in excess of 10% YoY, with a turnover of £50m within the UK. Due to this continued year on year growth, there is now a requirement for a Key Account Manager to join their high performing commercial team.
The main responsibility of this role is to proactively increase the profit of a designated account portfolio, achieving a specific turnover target at a budgeted margin. Whilst your key focus shall be working toward achieving profitable growth within your customer portfolio, my client would also expect for you to explore all new business opportunities as and when they present themselves.
To be considered for this role, you will be expected to have at least 12 months commercial experience within the foodservice, wholesale or cash & carry sectors. You will preferably have experience working within the food industry, however those working within the drinks industry will also be considered. It is vital that you have high levels of commercial acumen and attention to detail. To be successful in this role you will be energetic, able to work cross functionally and above all keen to progress within a business which for the right person will offer ample opportunities for development.
