The Role
To work closely with the Group Engineering Manager supporting the sites in the South of the Country. Areas of responsibility are Energy Management and reduction. Site standards including fixed electrical testing and thermography. Working closely with the sites on MHE utilisation and damage/cost reduction. Project management on any capital improvement projects.

The Role

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Work with the group engineering manager to ensure that all sites are built to the appropriate specifications to support the network strategy
- Supporting the sites in the South of the country (inc subsidiaries) including management of site contracts/maintenance – review all contracts and ensure that work is carried out to company standards.
- Specified project management
- Responsibility for input into site recovery plans relevant to physical site
- Work with DCM and site team to ensure all environmental initiatives are completed
- Work with DCM and other site managers to ensure all facilities are a safe place to work
- Key link into business continuity planning process for the site
- Work with the site management team on MHE procurement, ensuring that the appropriate levels of equipment is on site and that it is in adherence to H&S standards
- Responsibility for the overall plant and refrigeration.

- Customer (depot) focused with a real willingness to deliver quality support to the depots.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
- 5 years facilities management experience in a similar sized centre
- Previous experience of operating/ownership of a multi-temperature site
- Strong communication skills
- PC and systems literate.
- L8 Control of legionella
- An understanding of the 17th edition wiring regs 2008 including HV & LV electrical systems
- Experience of industrial refrigeration
- H&S qualification either IOSSH or NEBOSH
- Basic understanding of plumbing including pumps, sprinklers & pipework
- Some Cad experience would be preferable
