About our Client:

Our client is already successful in the UK - posting triple digit growth since their inception in 2014 - and has recently launched internationally.

They are dedicated to preserving the environment by ethically sourcing their products from free trade incentives, using sustainable suppliers for the key ingredients and bringing top quality nutrition to the UK market. All of their products have no added flavours or artificial colours and fall under categories encompassing Skin, Body, Food, Snacking and Health & Beauty.

Current turnover is circa £10m and with a growing team and a start-up infrastructure, it's important that people within the business are hands on and willing to get involved in all aspects of the business with a real level of entrepreneurialism.

These guys are burgeoning at an impressive rate driven by their young, hungry team and a burning desire to succeed. The founders want to take their employees on a journey to help better their skill sets and become a formidable player within the Health category. It's a fast paced environment where you'll be exposed to other areas of the business and due to the start-up atmosphere, every day is truly different to the next.

 

About the Role:

This brand new position is for a Key Account Manager working across their Wholesale Channel.

As Key Account Manager you'll be reporting directly to the founder of the company, so this gives the right candidate a fantastic opportunity to work with an awesome mentor who will be coaching you on a 1 to 1 basis and really help you to excel and expand your skill set. Not to mention making you an expert in this channel! The Key Account Manager will have great support from within the business and be given a genuine vehicle to reach success in your career.

Some of the main duties of the Key Account Manager will include:
 

  • Setting up current and prospective client meetings.
  • Upselling new and current products into new and current accounts.
  • Participating in Rara days with wholesalers and their sales teams.
  • Joint business planning with Regional Directors of the wholesale accounts.
  • P&L responsibility.
  • Working closely with the founder.
  • Utilising your entrepreneurial spark.
  • Full autonomy & masses of visibility.
  • Owning your accounts.

 

About You: 

You'll need to be armed with a real interest in the health products market and have a passion for healthy lifestyle. It would be helpful if you have a good understanding of the health wholesale industry within London on a regional scale and are able to bring contacts with you although this is not a pre requisite. One thing we cannot comprise on is that you must be a self-starter and be willing to go the extra mile, really throwing your passion into this. 

The Key Account Manager requires a hunter mentality - you'll pursue every single lead that is given to you and be tenacious about converting those leads into sales. This business will afford you real opportunity to grow and prove your worth, giving you a platform to become a real industry leader.
