Our client is a market leading manufacturer of premium quality products sold to the Hospitality and Foodservice market. They have an outstanding reputation in this sector for their innovative, expertly designed product range and their unrivalled service levels.

The sales team enjoys a collaborative working environment and excellent support functions in marketing, finance, operations etc. The business does not micro manage and the Area Sales Managers take charge of their own territory to ensure that they achieve the best results.

The Role

This role requires you to drive sales growth through a network of key and independent distributors –every call is an opportunity to increase sales and so you will be expected to take a proactive approach and work alongside the Sales Director to implement and follow a targeted business plan.

You will be responsible for promoting the full range of products, showcasing newly launched lines, raising awareness of any promotions etc.

You will also be required to perform joint visits with distributor sales teams to promote the product range to the end users –Hotels, Restaurants, Bars etc. in the area.

The Person

Cultural fit is key in this business and in order to be considered candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

Proven track record of top tier sales achievements within your current business.

Polished, professional appearance and communication style.

Proven experience of B2B Sales.

Structured sales training gained from within a KPI focused environment.

A link to, or an interest in the HoReCa sector is beneficial but not essential.

Highly organized and able to run your own area.

Centrally located within the South West and flexible to travel extensively and stay away from home as required.
