Senior National Account Manager (On-Trade)
Established in 2013, our client represents a number of producers from the US and Europe, focusing on craft spirits because consumers are increasingly looking for products with provenance, authenticity, and craftsmanship they admire.
An award winning distributor their work has been featured in numerous UK on-trade and consumer lifestyle publications, as well as The New York Times. Continuing to lead the UK in distributing craft spirits whilst also working with trade organisations and industry bodies to drive awareness of craft distilling.
You will be responsible for driving new business in one of the on trade’s most exciting channels. Engaging a commercial mindset and harnessing your entrepreneurial spirit, you will drive distribution and growth of the our clients brand portfolio across the national on-trade retail sector. You will leverage senior relationships to deliver the craft spirits category proposition, and execute trade marketing campaigns brilliantly. You will act as a consultant to the trade, bringing customers on the craft spirits journey.
Our client is a rapidly growing distribution agency representing a large number of exceptional craft and boutique spirits produced both in the UK, and abroad. Our mission is to drive change in the spirits industry by reducing our customers’ reliance on mainstream brands. We help our customers to deliver better experiences and higher margins by giving consumers access to a higher quality product.
A proven track record of having managed large on trade customers, ideally the major national pub and leisure groups.
The ability to develop new business is essential to this role as the customer base expands, you will therefore have a strong demonstrable skill set within this area.
You will have delivered exceptional NPD launches within the spirits category.
You will be confident in talking about category, trends and cocktails.
Able to deliver mutual value at every level of the customer hierarchy, specifically with senior stakeholders.
Strong commercial acumen and numeracy skills with the ability to identify value growth in all areas of the customer.
You will possess a strong sense of purpose, be proactive and capable of working autonomously.
You will think outside the box and be able to challenge the status quo within the channel.
This role is homebased, however it will require nationwide travel and therefore a full UK driving licence is required.
On offer is a very competitive basic salary of £40,000 as well as a company Phone, Laptop, very competitive pension scheme and expenses.
