Are you a National Account Executive looking to build on your existing skill set? My client is a food manufacturing business that are the category leaders in the categories in which they operate and a strong and growing account base across all of the major top 4 retailers. They are in an enviable position with strong relationships with the buyers and able to work closely with them on the category and launch innovative new products.

I am looking for an ambitious National Account Executive who is keen to grow their skill set but hungry to achieve promotions up the ladder over time.

You will report to the Senior National Account Manager who will develop and support you in your career. Working on a large Top 4 retailer account, you will support the SNAM on delivering growth into that account but work closely with the Marketing, Category and Technical teams. Based in Buckinghamshire, there will be some travel to your account as and when necessary.

Your role:

  • Ensure excellent administration of the account both internally and externally.
  • Own the critical path for launches, promotions etc and ensure that any deadlines are met.
  • Weekly performance tracking and communication to the team.
  • Build strong relationships with the customer as their main point of contact.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Ideally 1 to 2 years‘experience within food manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Educated to degree level or the equivalent.
  • Great organisational, communication and time management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in your reporting.
  • Able to build on existing negotiation and influencing skills.
  • A good team player and able to build strong working relationships.
