Account Controller | Fresh Food | North West

We are seeking an excellent commercial candidate for a leading fresh food business.

About the Employer:

Our client is a leading fresh food business that serves most of the major retail multiples. They operate from a number of sites throughout the UK and are looking for an Account Controller to join their Commercial team as a result of business growth.

About the Role:

This role will head up a dynamic sales team that deliver a fantastic product and service to retailer multiples, foodservice and food manufacturing companies. You will head up an experienced team across the business and be responsible for delivering goals on account growth and business development throughout retail. You will be key in developing the sales strategies and identifying areas of potential development.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success as a business developer and will be experienced in the day to day management of at least one of the top 4 UK food retailers. They will understand "pace" and the marketing of own label perishable products and will be dynamic, charismatic and have excellent man management skills and team leadership ability as well as natural commercial acumen. You will have experience in leading a top performing team.

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this role as a minimum you must have a proven track record of sales and business development with the top retailers within the food industry.
