REWARDS: 27-32K Basic Salary, 42K OTE, Fully Expensed Car/Fuel Card

Unique position with one of the leading Regional Foodservice Wholesalers in the UK

THE ROLE:
This position is an exciting opportunity within an established Foodservice Wholesaler.
Your predominant focus will be as a relief manager and “Trouble shooter” across the Southern Region.
This includes covering area where there is long terms sickness, maternity, open territories or area which need some extra focus from an experienced Foodservice professional.
You will be targeted on demonstrating strong retention and growth in these areas, and using your foodservice expertise to bring these areas into sustainable growth.
The customer base across these areas will be predominantly mid market Foodservice clients across hotels, restaurants, healthcare, education and coffee shops, with the main contact level being at Head Chef or Contract Catering manager level.
This is a fantastic opportunity within a key strategic position within the sales team.

We are looking to grow our sales team through the recruitment of excellent, experienced foodservice sales professionals.

THE APPLICANT.
We are seeking to attract experienced candidates with a target driven approach to sales and a dynamic approach to account management and business development.
• Candidates are preferred to have field sales experience selling food solutions for a foodservice wholesaler.
• Candidates with experience selling other product ranges into the foodservice sector, including non food, catering equipment, seafood or fresh produce will also be considered.
• Candidates with a background as a qualified chef or catering qualifications with field sales experience in other areas will also be considered.
• Candidates with a proven Field Sales background in other disciplines with a passion and interest in food will also be welcomed.
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong relationship building skills combined with a flair for new business.
