Our client is a well-recognised food business with a successful portfolio of household name brands supplied to all major UK retail and convenience customers. As a result of exciting NPD, the company is experiencing large growth plans and needs an motivated National Account Manager to take full p&l responsibility for a top 4 grocery account.



Key responsibilities:
  • Full P&L responsibility for account
  • Development of a clear strategy and action plan to grow sales for account
  • Negotiate and manage JBP
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Grow distribution and brand presence across your customer portfolio
  • Review ranges and suggest NPD
  • Manage pricing and promotional activity with customers
  • Accurate forecasting of product volumes to support sales
  • Identify and exploit new business opportunities
  • Lead all contact with customer and attend regular face-to-face meetings
  • Communicate cross-functionally with other internal divisions




The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre with at least 1-4 years in a FMCG environment. You will have a strong commercial awareness, a 'can do' attitude and have a proven track record of delivering results. Experience with top 4 grocery multiples would be advantageous however other channel experience will be considered. This is an integral role for the business therefore you will posses exceptional communication and negotiation skills. A strong passion for FMCG brands is essential.
