Wellocks, one of the leading & fastest growing UK fresh food distributors are looking for an experienced buyer to join our busy Purchasing Office based at our Depot in Nelson, Lancashire.  

The successful candidate will need to flexible, hardworking and work well as a team, whilst at the same time demonstrating a proven track record of buying for the food service industry.  They must be highly analytical, well organised with a strong passion for seasonal produce.

A varied range of product knowledge and an understanding of current market values is essential.

They will need to continue with our ethos in building direct relationships with producers from around the globe and increasing our private label range.

They will contribute to annual planning, share their knowledge and credible information in order to develop junior members of the team.

Salary will be dependent on the experience of the applicant.
