We are currently working with a niche, yet highly effective business who are heavily involved in the agricultural and horticultural sectors. The business has developed a new and exciting way of improving crop production and are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to help them continue their growth in the market place. If you have a background knowledge of agronomy and/or crop growing and are looking for your next exciting sales role, then please read on.

The Job

You will be responsible for analysing their market and identifying possible opportunities to capitalize on.
Ensuring your time is appropriately spent between existing and new client development.
You will be responsible for approaching potential clients and selling the benefits of the company's products.
Keeping an eye on the rest of the market and ensuring you are reacting to opportunities and threats.

The Candidate

You will have extensive experience in the agricultural and/or horticultural sectors and be well versed on the challenges the industry faces.
Sales is clearly the main aim of this role, but this will be done from a very informed position. As such, a BASIS qualification would be a big advantage.
You will be a good team player who is able and happy to work off your own initiative.
Strong negotiation skills are a must.
