Lean TPM Manager

Based in Northampton

Competitive salary + benefits package

Do you have the in-depth understanding of production and Lean TPM techniques it takes to join one of the UK’s largest beer and beverage companies? Are you thirsty for the opportunity to bring tangible production line improvements to a world-class brewery? Congratulations, you’re in the right place.

You probably know us best for Carlsberg and Carlsberg Export. But, there's more to us than meets the eye. From Tetley's to Tuborg, San Miguel to Somersby Cider - we produce lots of leading brands. We are also proud of our partnership with the UK's best festivals - Glastonbury and Download to name just a couple.

Right now, we’re looking for an experienced individual who knows how to lead by example, to actively help implement Lean TPM within our modern, £multi-million production facility. A great opportunity to accelerate and embed Lean TPM improvements to bring that way of working alive, it’s a role that involves providing plenty of support too. Not just to team members, but in the review, development and implementation of new and enhanced processes relating to People, Quality, Service and Cost. Training and developing others in Lean techniques will be important too. And, when it comes to performing diagnostic work, carrying out cost tracking or facilitating root cause problem solving, again, you’ll be the person we turn to.

Coming from a clean manufacturing/production facility, ideally within an FMCG organisation, you’re well versed in large volume, time critical output. Indeed, your excellent understanding of modern production techniques has given you, amongst other things, an innate ability to analyse losses and visualise waste. What’s more, you’re enthusiastic, open-minded, hungry for knowledge and keen to improve yourself and the processes you’re responsible for.  Being a strong communicator with the ability to influence, collaborate and engage and with good written and verbal communication skills too, and you’ve got all it takes to be a success in this vital production improvement role.

On top of the culture and career development opportunities that make working with us so rewarding, we’ll also give you a product allowance, flexible benefits scheme and generous holidays. So, what are you waiting for? The brewing challenges you crave with a world leader could be yours for the taking.

Please don’t hesitate to get your application submitted as the interview process could be commenced ahead of the closing date.

Company

Carlsberg. To many we’re a famous Danish pilsner beer. To others, we make the best beer adverts ever, probably. To our colleagues, we’re so much more. We’re a brewer with 170-years of heritage and a reputation for making great beer at breweries across the world. We support this through continuous scientific innovation, centred at the Carlsberg Laboratory in Copenhagen, where the pH Scale was developed.

Alongside Carlsberg Pilsner, our enviable portfolio of beer brands includes Carlsberg Export, San Miguel, Tetley’s, Poretti and Brooklyn Lager. Some we brew, others we licence from our valued brewing partners Mahou, San Miguel and Brooklyn Brewery. We build these brands through iconic communications and sponsorship assets that include Glastonbury and Live Nation festivals, such as Reading, Leeds, Wireless and Latitude.

Above all else, we have a purpose and commitment to Brewing for a Better Today & Tomorrow, which is core to everything we do, from sales to sustainability. Carlsberg really is a great place to work. Internationally renowned brands, an exciting and stimulating environment and outstanding opportunities for personal development on a global stage. With such a diverse range of jobs and huge professional challenges, this is a place where passion and the desire to achieve really can make a difference.

Every day is different. Every day we look at new ways to perfect what we do and to be the best. And, it’s our people that are key to this. It’s a place where team means everything – yet every individual has the opportunity to shine. So on top of the culture and career development opportunities that make working with us so rewarding, we’ll also give you a product allowance, a flexible benefits scheme and generous holidays.
