As a Food Buying Manager you will report into the Head of Trading within the food team. It's a high profile role where you will be responsible for a team of experienced food Buyers who you will coach and develop to drive business growth and incremental food sales. Your relationship skills will be well-honed and you'll use your influencing and negotiation skills across the business with senior level Directors and key strategic suppliers.

I'm looking for Senior Buyers or Buying Managers with strong food experience within a retail environment. You'll have wide category knowledge and experience, be commercially aware and excellent with figures. I'm looking for real evidence of increasing sales within the categories you've worked in. Previous experience of leading buying teams within a food retail environment is essential. Above all you will need to have a real passion for food and be up to date with current food trends.
