Grocery Account Controller required to lead a dedicated customer commercial team for a significantly sized £multi-million top tier grocery customer account.
As the leading UK supplier across their respective categories, our client directly impacts up the daily lives of everyday consumers with their portfolio of well-known brands and private label ranges.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, this role is responsible for leading and inspiring a dedicated commercial team across sales, category and NPD areas, and developing senior level customer contact and strategy.
The role is within a business enjoying healthy double-digit growth over recent years, and one that continues to be acquisitive in line with its ambitious growth plan.

To succeed in the role, you will need experience of private label manufacturing environments and the be able to effectively manage multiple projects at any one time. A cross-functional skillset and experience of leading Innovation and / or Category functions is advantageous; however, your main experience should be in direct selling to top tier grocery multiple customer accounts.
The role is ideal for experienced Account Managers looking to apply the cross-functional skills they’ve developed elsewhere, in their first leadership capacity, and offers a great opportunity to progress to Controller level within the industry.
