Our client is a leading food business that manufactures premium quality products for many of the retailers. This business is focused on delivering a world class manufacturing environment ensuring its products are of the highest quality, but it also cares about its people, their development and success. We are currently recruiting on their behalf for a Site Manager to assume overall responsibility for the site.

RESPONSIBILITIES
*Ensure the site, equipment and people meet with legislative and internal health and safety standards at all times.

*Ensure all products meet the requirements of the customer specifications and are produced in line with the QMS.

*Appraise and develop the Management team to ensure they have a clear understanding of the expectations of their role in the business.

*Identify skill gaps in existing colleagues with your Managers to ensure training offered leads to optimum flexibility and cover across the operations team.

*Ensure effective cost control through best use of all resources including raw and packaging materials, labour, minimisation of waste and maximisation of machine efficiency.

*Accountable for the site budget and P&L and consistently strive to ensure KPI's and targets are achieved.
