About the Role:
The relationship with JS is strong and the focus is on NPD and food fashion, to deliver new and interesting products to their consumers. This is done using a lot of category insight, an in depth understanding of what is happening in the food industry and focus on how the consumer is constantly changing and looking for new and interesting products. There is a good team in place to work alongside, all of whom are passionate about developing new products for the business.
Our client is looking for a National Account Manager who has prior experience of dealing with UK top 4 multiples and ideally blue chip trained. You should be a real foodie and be truly inquisitive about what the industry is doing and how you can create a compelling story about what to bring to market next. You’ll be creative, whilst also being super organised, you’ll want to bring your ideas to the table and be able to make a great argument for bringing them through the NPD process. This is a team role, but you will be asked to guide the team as a senior member and influencer.
• Strong commercial acumen
• Proven track record of sales achievement in a challenging environment
• Exceptionally well developed interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written including strong influencing skills
• Proven ability to negotiate effectively in reactive and flexible situations
• Ability to devise and implement solutions in order to generate sales
• Experience in process review and process improvement
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Able to work independently and without close direction
