The Buying and Merchandising division of Exsurgo is proud to support a leading retailer in search of a Wine Buyer during their exciting period of continued growth.
The role
As the Wine Buyer, you will have the fantastic opportunity to buy wines from across the world for an exciting, dynamic client base. This role will lead the sourcing and negotiation of wines guided by the Head of Buying to ensure the range is exciting, innovative and offers great value for money. You'll join the Buying team and help manage the Wine category playing and integral part of the team. The role of Buyer will be responsible for ethically sourcing an existing portfolio of lines, liaising with current suppliers and distributors to ensure best in class deals for the product range and working closely with Branding & Comms and Finance teams to deliver the best for the customers.
The ideal candidate
If you have a minimum of 5 years commercial responsibility in Buying and Brand management and the ability to assess quality and value in wine and have the ability to manage several projects at any time who can work to tight deadlines please do apply! You must have a full clean driving license because this role will involve some travel.
