Shaken Udder is a small British company that supply’s high quality milkshakes to large multiples, wholesalers and other customers in the UK.  Shaken Udder is looking to increase its distribution across the UK and in export markets. They are focused on innovation and dedicated to excellent customer service.  2016 showed 39% growth and 2017 is set to be an exciting, with new products planned to launch throughout the year.

The role: - The main purpose of this exciting new role is for the National Account Manager to grow and develop sales through a variety of channels across the UK and some export. Predominantly the roll will be a multiple retailer focus however there will be expectation to grow sales in other areas such as travel, wholesale and potentially export. With an impressive account management track record, top class negotiation skills, you’ll have the ability to maximise selling opportunities through existing customers as well as the tenacity to build your own sales strategy, build JBP’s, promotional plans, source your own leads, generating new business and maximising profitability.

 The Person:-

You will be looking for a role in a small, growing business which gives you the opportunity to really make your mark.  You're likely be someone who is highly motivated, loves making a sale and over exceeding targets. We’re incredibly focused on results, profitability, time management and organisation.

You won't be looking for an easy ride or looking to work in a large corporate business.  We don’t have lots of different departments to off load work to.

 Experience & Skills

  • 2 years’ experience of account management in UK multiples.
  • Ensuring that the customer’s expectations are managed and exceeded at all times.
  • Financially aware - makes sound decisions based on profitability, proven track record in a profit responsibilities environment.
  • Analytical capability - decision making based on data evaluations.
  • Converting new business opportunities through active prospecting. 
  • Candidates must be driven, energetic sales professionals able to plan and implement their own journey plan.
  • You will have prior experience of writing and delivering JBPs with the major multiples as well as top-class negotiation skills.
  • Ability to keep track of all investment and forecasting.
  • Sound financial awareness in order to manage the P&L and promotions, you will be highly numerate with a deep understanding of category management principles.
  • Working with and managing internal sales support staff, to manage new and develop customer accounts in the most effective manner.  Have experience in Field Sales, account management and gaining new business, must be accustomed to working in an FMCG / food sales environment.
  • Highly Self-motivation and enthusiastic.
  • Proven track record in sales, used to working to and achieving/ exceeding targets.
  • The ability to manage and develop strategic partnerships, your communication and networking skills will be second to none.
  • Experience of ambient, chilled, short life supply chain is essential.
  • To portray a professional, friendly and helpful manner at all times.
  • Computer literacy – confident with MS Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident and resourceful in the face of challenges, with a positive attitude.
  • Problem-solving capabilities and a logical approach to issues.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, with both colleagues and customers.
  • Candidates must be driven, energetic sales professionals able to plan and implement their own journey plan.
  • Be able to manage others and have good team skills.

Qualifications

  • We expect applicants to be literate and highly numerical and qualified to at least A Level or equivalent, in addition to having GCSE grades C or above in English and Maths. Other qualifications and language skills are an advantage, but are not essential.
  • Computer skills our essential especially the use of, Microsoft excel, word and outlook.
