A vacancy has arisen within the Credit Management Department at Ashford.
Reporting to the Line Manager your duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring that all cash on delivery and credit accounts are opened within the team SLA
  • Effective & professional handling of customer queries
  • Creation and maintenance of customer accounts and hierarchies for all business sectors
  • Updating customer master data
  • Closure of accounts and applying basic discounts
  • Undertaking Risk Assessment Analysis; obtaining credit reports from a Credit Reference Agency and assessing trade history
  • Scanning of legal documentation & general admin duties
  • Maintaining data entry requirements by following data procedures
  • Verifying entered customer data by reviewing, correcting, deleting or re-entering data; combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete
  • Creation and maintenance of customer accounts and hierarchies for all business sectors
  • Assisting with data exception reporting
  • Assist Credit Control with the portfolio of their accounts
  • Effectively communicate with both internal and external customers at all levels
  • Meeting of period targeted KPI’s, ensuring the agreed SLA is achieved
  • Other Ad Hoc duties as requested by Management to support the Credit Management Department
The ideal candidate will need:
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • To enjoy working & contributing to a team.
  • Excellent typing skills & a high level of accuracy
  • Be able to communicate at all levels both internally and externally
  • Firm focus on ability to work both accurately and to deadlines, often on ones own initiative
  • To be confident & self motivated
  • IT Literate, Knowledge of SAP, Intermediate
