Foodservice National Account Manager | Premium Bakery Produce | Food Service Individual Required
The Business belongs to a larger food group, which turns over several million a year. They are well-respected in the industry, and are seeking to expand their range in terms of depth and scope in popular restaurant chains, foodservice companies, and end-user formats.
The role will require a level of “foodiness” in order to sell the product to the customer in a collaborative way. The role requires a good grasp of the industry itself, and how to market both yourself as an individual, and the product, in equal measures. The product is driven by a commercial NPD mind-set; and will need to be sold on both the basis of its technical specifications and it's premium quality. You will need a good grasp of both to succeed.
You will ideally have a background in NPD with a commercial head on your shoulders, looking to go into national accounts; or you will have spent some time in the commercial foodservice channels but will have maintained a keen and demonstrable interest in NPD. You will be able and willing to travel in the South, and will be a big relationship builder.
Opportunity in this role will only be limited by the boundaries you set yourself. Your ability to sell by speaking the language of the customer will be the key factor in your success.
