Buyer - Beauty

Your new company
As the UK's number one in their field, our client are looking for a Buyer of Beauty products who will be responsible for growing and developing this key category in line with the ambitious growth plans of the company

Your new role
In this exciting, challenging and rewarding role, you will be required to source new products for their loyal and valued customer base via negotiating with with suppliers to optimise cost and terms, managing the the product life cycle as well as supporting the advertising and product marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for managing supplier performance, actively sourcing new products and suppliers, negotiating best terms with suppliers, maintaining continuity of stock and working closely with the Assistant Buyer to ensure the smooth replenishment process.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal applicants for this position will have a proven track record of success in a busy purchasing / buying environment, preferably with experience in buying beauty products, including skincare and haircare. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to successfully manage and develop a product range and you will have outstanding negotiation skills as well as first class commercial and influencing ability

What you'll get in return
