Trade Marketing Manager

My client's products can be found in every supermarket in the UK and have an ever growing presence within their categories across the globe. They are seen as Category Leaders and have a huge influence on the market due to them being ranked in either 1 st or 2 nd place across all of their categories. They are looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to become a key member of this recently launched commercial team.
As Trade Marketing Manager, your key responsibilities will involve but not be limited to gathering and understanding consumer insights to enable you to develop a highly effective 4P's strategy. You will make sure that your category receives optimal product assortment and placement to engage consumers resulting in uplifts in sales. Working closely with the sales team, you will be tasked with building 4P's gap analysis to enable you to champion the new product entry and execution. This will include developing sales material and presentations to bring to key customers and to ultimately establish the business as the category expert.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a degree and have at least 4 years' customer, shopper or trade marketing experience within an FMCG organisation. You will have demonstrated progression during your career and have strong knowledge of Syndicated Data (IRI, Nielsen, Spectra, Panel Data and A&U's). Advanced usage of Excel, PowerPoint, Nitro (or equivalent; and basic Spaceman (or equivalent) is key in addition to having strong communication, written and oral skills.
