Description

The Sales Executive- Greeting Cards will be responsible for both maintaining and developing independent accounts within the region. The role is primarily an account management position however you will be required to prospect new business within the territory.

With an account base of approximately 100, the Sales Executive- Greeting Cards will:

  • Analyse opportunities for the territory
  • Take ownership for your region and develop plans to increase distribution, visibility and awareness of the brand
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the trade through ongoing dialogue and support
  • Drive results and exceed sales objectives for the region
  • Deal with orders up to £3000 from customers
  • Provide business analyses and competitive data for the South Coast region to the Regional Sales Manager

Profile

The Sales Executive- Greeting Cards will be an experienced sales person, working to targets and able to demonstrate an ability to develop and grow accounts.

The candidate will:

  • Have a proven track record in successful field sales
  • A desire to progress
  • Be results orientated
  • Ideally have experience of sales within independents and/or forecourts
  • Ideally have experience within the greeting card industry
  • Be able to demonstrate merchandising skills
  • Have good communication skills
  • Have the ability to build strong relationships
  • Be able to demonstrate entrepreneurial flair
  • Have strong organisational skills
  • Be able to work independently
  • Be residing in the postcode TW,UB,WD,EN in South East England
