Territory Sales Manager
Territory Sales Manager working with a global brand within the consumer market, located in East London/ Kent.
My client is a global blue chip company that manufactures products within the consumer market. With an initial focus on a core product range, my client has recently purchased a new brand whereby a Territory Sales Manager is required to kick-start the brand presence with an aim of generating new business opportunities in the long-run. Globally my client employs around 4,000 people worldwide, with their HQ based in Australia. Their products are ranked #1 in all markets in which they operate. Here, career progression is very important as my client invests in their employees through focusing on training and development to ensure all staff achieve their full potential.
As Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the relationships of an already defined customer base of multiple retailers within the consumer DIY space. You will maximise profitability and return on investment for the business and achievement of agreed financial targets for your brands and territory of East London/Kent. A key part of this role will involve training and educating sales staff on the benefits of the product range, to encourage sales and kick-start the brand presence. Once you have successfully developed your existing account base you will look to generate new business within your territory.
The successful Territory Sales Manager will have the following demonstrable skills:
* FMCG Sales background
* Field based experience is ideal
* Ability to build strong customer relationships, with confidence in staff training and presenting both internally and externally at all levels
* Exceptional communication skills; verbal, written and listening
* Results orientated, process driven and a team player
* Creative thinker and a proactive approach
* Full UK driving licence
Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 + bonus, company car & additional benefits.
