Are you currently looking for a fantastic next step in your career? I am working with a well-established SME in the UK and due to rapid growth they are looking to add a new ingredients specialist to their team. The business are a leader in supplying ingredients to food manufacturers in the UK. They are looking for a National Account Manager who is driven, hungry and passionate about driving new business and managing existing relationships.
The Role
- Report to and liaise with the Sales Director on the week’s activities, past, present and future.
- Proactively increasing sales to new and established customers to meet and if possible exceed sales targets.
- Managing existing accounts and driving new business on a national basis.
- Selling ingredients to food manufacturers/producers.
- Working from home, managing own diary and customer visits.
The Candidate
- The successful applicant will have relevant industry experience selling ingredients into manufacturing accounts.
- Worked with ingredients in a sales environment.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience selling food ingredients into food manufacturers.
- MUST BE – hungry, driven and passionate to develop relationships with customers.
- Using initiative on a daily basis
- Organised and analytical candidate
