National Account Manager - Ingredients - B2B - Home Based - £40k-£45k

I am working with a well-established SME in the UK and due to rapid growth they are looking to add a new ingredients specialist to their team. The business are a leader in supplying ingredients to food manufacturers in the UK. They are looking for a National Account Manager who is driven, hungry and passionate about driving new business and managing existing relationships.  

The Role

• Report to and liaise with the Sales Director on the week’s activities, past, present and future.
• Proactively increasing sales to new and established customers to meet and if possible exceed sales targets.
• Managing existing accounts and driving new business on a national basis.
• Selling ingredients to food manufacturers/producers.
• Working from home, managing own diary and customer visits.

The Candidate

• The successful applicant will have relevant industry experience selling ingredients into manufacturing accounts.
• Worked with ingredients in a sales environment.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience selling food ingredients into food manufacturers.
• MUST BE – hungry, driven and passionate to develop relationships with customers.
• Using initiative on a daily basis
• Organised and analytical candidate
