National Account Manager | Fresh Food | Kent
Based in Kent, our client is a well established fresh produce business who have experienced huge growth with their major supermarket customers. As a result of this growth, they are looking to expand their team with the appointment of a National Account Manager to deal with one or more of their major supermarket accounts. A background in fresh/chilled food is essential, but they are very happy to provide all of the support needed to get up to speed in their particular category.
Day to day management of one or more of their key supermarket accounts (possibly discounters).
Working closely with all internal departments, to ensure you are fully aware of any upcoming issues or opportunities.
Developing and delivering the target sales volumes and profitability.
Being a sound and trustworthy ambassador for the business.
You will have had previous account management experience within the fresh/chilled food industry.
Will be a sound communicator and negotiator with an efficient and effective approach.
You will be good with numbers, demonstrate good problem solving and have the ability to think on their feet.
Will have ambition and a desire to learn and develop both personally and professionally.
