Non-Executive Director

Community Shop is looking to appoint a remunerated Non-Executive Director to join our Board. Established in 2013, Community Shop was the UK's first social supermarket, using food to build stronger individuals and more confident communities.

The model is having a transformational impact in the communities it serves. Operating in four areas with more stores in the pipeline across the country. Community Shop is looking to strengthen its board in preparation for the next phase of growth. We welcome applications from senior leaders in the food industry, with a passion for unlocking the social potential in surplus food.

Applicants will be asked to demonstrate experience at chief executive or senior leadership level and have the ability to build new collaborations for Community Shop and deepen our relationships across the sector.
