Our client operates as an autonomous division of a recognised and much loved FMCG food group globally and in the UK. The approach of the group provides significant opportunity for individuals to grow both strategically within their role and practically within their careers. This has resulted in substantial expansion across their operations which are supported with a recent £multi –million investment that has created the need for the business to identify those that can operate as Sales Director level within the next 24 months following internal promotion and development.
You will join initially as head of a channel managing a significantly sized team that will offer exposure to a range of customers overseeing £250m + of business. This could be as diverse as retail, discounters, convenience, high street and Foodservice, or simply focus upon one channel depending upon your capability and areas of expertise. The pace of the operation is unforgiving and yet excitedly challenging for those who seek the opportunity to make step change in business, lead people and implement their own strategies.
The outputs of your activities will be delivered through your team, so you must be as comfortable developing the blueprint for strategy that will involve integration with supply, manufacturing and logistics, along with the breadth to include on-line solutions within the portfolio. During this period you will be a key advisor to the divisional change development program that is currently being aligned to start in late 2017.
