An excellent opportunity has now become available to join one of the UK’s leading design lead wholesalers of gift and home accessories. The company is very well established within their market and have built a fantastic reputation for the quality of their products and service, their unique designs and their vast seasonal ranges.

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their growing sales team to support the rapid growth of the business. There is an excellent entrepreneurial spirit that runs throughout the business which is reflected in the autonomy that is given to the current Sales team.

As an Area Sales Manager you will be expected to grow and develop the turnover within your designated territory. The area is already well developed with a strong existing portfolio of customers that you will nurture and manage accordingly to increase sales. You will be required to travel across the territory to prospect for new business and any potential new customers. There is also the ability to access their showroom at Head Office to invite prospect and existing clients to showcase the full product ranges.

To be considered for this opportunity you will be an experienced sales person currently working within the homeware / giftware industry. You will have an excellent track record of successfully developing and building sales within a territory along with genuine enthusiasm and passion for the products. Current experience selling in to Garden Centres, Independent Gift Retailer and Homeware Stores is essential. Excellent communication skills are also vital as well as the ability to quickly build rapport and strong relationships with existing and new customers.
