The Company:

A true market leader, our client is one of the most well established companies in the greeting cards industry. They have a fantastic collection of products that are stocked by a huge range of independent and multiple retailers.

The role:

An opportunity has arisen to join the Independent Sales team covering a territory across the South East of England postcodes: TW, UB, WD, EN, IG, LU, AL and SG.

You will be responsible for managing and developing the independent accounts on your territory. Part of the role will be to increase the number of commercially viable accounts through establishing contacts and prospecting. Additionally, the role involves some administrative work.

They are currently looking to recruit a territory sales person to manage and develop the existing Independent Retail Customers across the Liverpool/Manchester region. Postcodes covering the territory consist of TW, UB, WD, EN, IG, LU, AL and SG.

You will be responsible for both existing and new business sales, ensuring that all accounts within your territory receive regular calls; with a frequency that encourages accounts to grow and maximise spend with the company through becoming a first class partner in helping customers develop their business.

The person:

Living on territory, ideally in or closely bordering one of the postal code areas of TW, UB, WD, EN, IG, LU, AL or SG.

The successful candidate must have experience of working in a sales environment, working to targets and a good record of developing business relationships. Other necessary qualities would include being organised, tenacious, personable and self-motivated. Experience of the greeting cards industry would be an advantage, however, experienced sales professionals from allied industries and other FMCG product categories will be also be seriously considered.
