This organisation is a market leading and instantly recognised ambient food brand with a turnover well in excess of £100m. They have an excellent reputation in the industry for speed of decision making, pace, flexibility and making things happen. Financially strong, which has led to a recent acquisition, and further investment planned, this is an exciting time to join the business along with a number of exec members and play a key role in delivering a highly ambitious but achievable growth target, whilst having a lot of fun along the way. This organisation suits a classically trained blue chip operator who is ready to make a move into a slightly smaller environment that is not constrained by process and bureaucracy, but still work with industry leaders and supported by an already successful brand.

This role will take full ownership of the contract catering and vending customers within the foodservice channel with an existing multi-million pound P&L. Working autonomously and reporting into the Head of Impulse, you will also directly manage a BDE, and be responsible for driving the growth in the contract catering customers, further embedding the relationship with Compass and growing the portfolio within other strategic accounts.

You will have specific experience managing national accounts and P&L in the channel, although specific experience with the likes of Compass and Sodexho would be ideal. Previous people management experience is not a pre-requisite, although you will have the necessary style and empathy in order to develop and lead the BDE, whilst also have the drive and ambition to take full ownership for this portfolio of customers. You will also be a team player looking to contribute to the wider business performance but equally be able to thrive in an autonomous environment working remotely. You will be commercially strong, comfortable in negotiations and building long term collaborative relationships at a strategic level and be able to demonstrate delivering growth in your previous roles.

The business operates a home based policy with limited requirements for office presence, but a willingness to travel to see customers is a necessity.
