Business Development Manager- Grocery & High Street- UK Houseware Brand

Seven are currently working with a recognisable non-food Consumer Durable’s manufacturer in their search for a New Business Development Manager.

This is a new role within the business and therefore will require someone with significant experience in a similar role before. The business is committed to driving growth and securing new listings and you will be shaping the role going forward.

You will have tonnes of experience within High Street retailers as well as grocery multiples and feel comfortable prospecting for new business.

Due to the nature of the role, experience working in business development  within Consumer Good sales is a must.

The role is a 100% New Business role, therefore a confident professional manner, an ability to develop leads and influence at all levels is essential.

This successful candidate will ideally have::

• Proven sales experience, preferably in the field
             - Excellent lead generation experience
             - Demonstrable and successful business development experience
• Experience in a product based environment desirable
• Proven ability to negotiate
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Strong experience working to and exceeding targets
