The Supply Chain division of Exsurgo is recruiting an Interim Supply Planner for an FMCG company in London.
The company
As a Supply Planner you will be joining this company at a very exciting time and change, where the business is expanding and taking on new projects.
The role
The Supply Planner job will require you to build relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure they deliver. The key elements to these relationships will help you meet your goals, optimise costs, and create stock and distribution centre availability. You will be required to analyse date and work to tight deadlines. In addition, you will have to build and maintain solid working relationships, internally and externally. Therefore, excellent communication skills are essential. You will have the ability to anticipate issues and make a quick decision on how to correct them with minimal impact to the business.
The candidate
The successful candidate for the supply planner job will have the following:
- Be degree educated
- A proven track-record in supply planning in an FMCG or retail
- A flexible and adaptable approach to changing situations and workload.
- An enthusiastic and determined Planner who takes ownership and strives to deliver.
- Will be strongly customer focused, team orientated, yet able to work independently.
- Be a fast learner with sound business sense.
- Have working knowledge of demand planning and forecasting
