Started in the UK 15 years ago, my client has established themselves within the Health and Beauty Categories, with focus on the toiletries and cosmetics product areas. Backed by a larger global business with headquarters in Dubai, this is a company that supplies fragrance and beauty products to a wide variety of customers. With great emphasis on international trading, the company is now present in over 20 independent markets, including Asia and Europe. Supplying to a wide variety of major UK multiples, their customers range from the likes of Asda, Tesco, Savers, Poundstretcher and Bodycare. Product development and innovation lies at the heart of their values and the business is constantly looking for new areas of development. As a result of continued growth, the company is now seeking a new Regional Account Manager to join their team.

Reporting into the Head of UK Sales, you would be responsible for nurturing current accounts as well and growing existing business and sourcing new sales opportunities. As Regional Account Manager, you will work with a wide portfolio of accounts, including independents, smaller regional accounts and cash and carries. In this field based role, you will be part of a small sales team of 2 and would personally cover from the Midlands to the South of the UK. In addition, you would be responsible for launching new products into the market.

The successful candidate would have exceptional communication and relationship building skills, and comfortable dealing with customers face to face. Experience working across a variety of accounts in the health and beauty industry is essential, ideally pharmacy, wholesalers and discounters, as well as an ambitious nature and outstanding work ethic. As this is a field based position, the ability to be proactive and self-motivated is crucial.
