Our client is looking for somebody to assume complete ownership of their leading grocery customer relationship, Tesco.

As the lead supplier across a portfolio of innovation-driven categories, their relationship with Tesco is second-to-non, acting in true partnership with one another and shaping the future performance of categories across the nation.

Our client offers a classic fast-paced, chilled, innovation-driven, customer-focussed working environment, with the customer at the centre of their agenda at all times.

As a result, they are looking to identify experienced Account Managers with a strong cross-functional skillset and ability to lead multiple-projects across the likes of NPD, category, supply-chain and factory.

Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will have day-to-day support from a Junior Account Manager to ensure your time is free (where possible) to regularly interact with the Tesco team.

The business we represent are entering the second phase of an ambitious growth plan which includes the successful acquisition of other chilled, innovation-driven operations and is aiming to double in size over the next 5 years.

As a direct consequence, the Sales Director is finding more of their time being consumed by strategic projects, creating the need to develop a ‘no.2’ to themselves in the sales structure.  This means the business can offer the ideal step to support ambitious individuals progress from Account Manager to Controller level, via the delegation of senior level responsibilities.
