Job Details
The Buying and Merchandising division of Exsurgo is recruiting an experienced Buyer for a Global Retailer with Horticulture category experience for a 6 month fixed term contract.
The role
You'll join the Buying team and manage the horticulture category for a 6 month fixed term contract.The role of Buyer will be responsible for ethically sourcing an existing portfolio of lines, liaising with current suppliers and distributors to ensure best in class deals for the product range and working closely with Branding & Comms and Finance teams to deliver the best for the customers.
The ideal Buyer candidate
The successful individual will be immediately available and have proven commercial experience at a Buyer level and must have experience in horticulture. You will have worked closely with a Merchandising team and worked within an Own Branded and Branded Buying role previously. You must be highly competent in Excel and other MS office functions and have previous Line Management experience.
