The role

An international FMCG business is looking for a National Account Manager to cover a role whilst the permanent incumbent is on maternity leave. You will be working on a specific channel which will reflect the background of the person they appoint.

The role will be a classic commercial role that will cover one of the major channels and will looking after one of the client's main categories. You will be developing and implementing an annual business plan as well as working on the 4Ps targets and achieving net revenue and gross margin.

There will be some analysis of insight data to help the national account team and you will be the first point of contact for the buyers when it comes to any supply side issues.

There is also a focus on promotions and executing best in class promotions to help deliver ambitious sales targets.

This role is looking for exceptional FMCG commercial specialists and there is a strong chance that the role will go permanent for the right person.

The person

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have the following skills:
  • Strong NAM experience from within a multinational blue chip FMCG business
  • Demonstrable achievements that show progression in every role undertaken
  • A real drive to succeed and a desire to over achieve on targets
  • A strong understanding of the domestic grocery market
  • Excellent analytical and numerate understanding
  • Keen to take on responsibility and drive new initiatives across the team.
