National Account Manager

If the answers to these questions is yes, CSG Talent has a highly commercial National Account Manager opportunity with an international blue chip food manufacturing business who make some of the most iconic brands in the world. The company has seen significant investment resulting in the growth of their brands in an otherwise challenging retail environment. This role is to be based in Central London and we are looking for high potential individuals who can progress and grow with the business.
What’s the role?
You will be the first point of contact for your account, leading and driving the relationship and looking for opportunities to drive growth and share of space.
You will develop the strategy for your account and formalise this in the JBP’s to deliver the numbers and growth targets.
You’ll be closely involved in range review recommendations, implementing promotional strategy improvements and NPD launches.
Your ability to plan and forecast will be excellent.
You’ll work cross functionally with the internal teams across Category, Marketing, Finance, Innovation and Supply Chain.
Who’s right for this role?
You will be a highly commercial and proactive National Account Manager, ideally from within a blue chip FMCG background with experience of managing grocery accounts.
You will need to be educated to degree level.
You will have great negotiating and strong influencing skills both internally and externally and an excellent relationship builder.
You are going to be a strong communicator and able to stand your ground.
You will have the makings of a strong leader and be ambitious for yourself and your career.
Like any FMCG business, you will need to operate at pace and with passion and energy.
