We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Van Sales Colleague, within Freshfayre reporting to our Depot Sales Manager
Key responsibilities include:
Employing over 10,000 people, the group supplies a diverse customer base, which includes, independent pubs, restaurants and hotels, schools, hospitals, contract caterers and well known national chains.
Brakes Group has developed a clear customer focus and a strong understanding of the needs of the foodservice sector providing innovative products and services and is committed to improving both the environment and the communities it serves.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Van Sales Colleague, within Freshfayre reporting to our Depot Sales Manager
Key responsibilities include:
- To continually develop sales with both existing and new customers.
- To participate in the future development and growth of Freshfayre by providing customer information to the business.
- To collect money from cash and credit accounts and to bank all money collected on a daily basis.
- To manage van stock levels by checking stock daily against the stock listing and ordering sufficient stock to meet customer needs.
- To ensure that the chilled vehicle temperature are taken and recorded as required
- To maintain the vehicle so that it is clean and roadworthy at all times and to fill in the tachograph twice every day.
- To maintain an up to date prospect list to aid the development of sales.
- To plan an efficient journey to minimise the use of fuel.
- To identify your own training and development needs.
- To present a professional Company image to customers at all times.
- To ensure that the chilled vehicle temperatures are taken /recorded
- To ensure that the depot fridge temperature is taken and recorded
- For van turnover and margin
- For the management of stock ensuring minimum leakage, damages and waste.
- For the accuracy of money collected and banked.
- For the accuracy of delivered orders.
- For the efficient use of fuel
