About our Client:

Double digit growth has seen the creation of this Business Account Manager role for a global player. Working with some of their largest customers, the role offers autonomy, fast paced career development and the opportunity to work across a number of different categories! This business is so fast paced, with constant NPD which is driving growth of 33% in this quarter alone. This growth has also led to a strategy change and the need for additions to their already highly talented Account Management team!

These guys have amazing brands you will know and love and you no doubt grew up with some of them! They are hugely complex as a business but so fast moving you could never be bored or standing still while working here.

They have a fantastic team ethic and are a close knit bunch so we’re looking for big personalities who have a true passion for Gaming and the entertainment industry.

About the Role:

This is a Business Account Manager role with a real difference from other ones out there. This is a relatively new team focussing on an MS&P approach, to develop new and increase existing lines of revenue. The team identify new business opportunities in existing accounts and targets new accounts to launch NPD, increasing profitability.

This has been set up to continue to exceed the ambitious - but hugely impressive - growth targets they have hit consistently for the last 6 years. It will require the person coming into this role to have a keen eye for hiring fantastic new people as the plan is to increase the team considerably over the next 12 months.

However this will still be an account management role. You will have full responsibility for accounts that are bought on with high profile retailers across all channels. It’s a real stretching opportunity with the chance to work with a lot more visibility on the P&L and brand launches in order to execute business strategy.

About You:

For success in this role as a Business Account Manager you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • FMCG experience with buyer interaction.
  • Experience & success in Games, Toys, Entertainment or wider consumer product industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of grocery / high street retailing & e-commerce.
  • A competitive streak!
  • Proactive, passionate, keen to learn, team player.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to communicate ideas concisely and confidently.
  • Demonstrate competence in data analysis Kantar, IRI etc.
  • Possess exceptional IT skills (especially PowerPoint and Excel).
  • The ability to deal well with ambiguity due to the constant change.
  • Drive to progress and progress quickly.
