About our Client: 

The client is a high growth, massively exciting, bang on consumer trend, branded food and drink business. They operate across sports nutrition, healthy snacking and various other meal occasions - areas which allow them huge room to grow and tons of scope for further expansion over the next few years. 

They have experienced year on year growth success for the last four years and are looking for their next entrepreneurial and passionate foodie to lead the UK National Accounts Team. This business has really flexible culture giving you full sign off on your accounts, JBP and P&L. You will be tasked with building senior level buying relationships; Trading Directors and Senior Buyers will be talking with you on a daily basis due to the key part this business is playing in leading the category growth in the retailers.

About the Role: 

As a Senior National Account Manager you will take a leadership role, supporting the Commercial Director on the strategic direction of the team and business growth. You will take ownership of their more established grocery accounts as well as some of their fledgling grocery relationships across the wider portfolio. 

The plan is to rapidly grow the business and the brands, and significantly grow the teams over the next 12 months. You will be actively involved in the hiring process bringing in top talent from the market with the remit of building a team. The P&L will belong to you, making this a great move for a National Account Manager looking to learn from some of the best in the business and get more creative licence. 

 

About You:

Our client is looking for (ideally) blue chip trained talent, who have prior experience of dealing with UK grocery and high street customers at head office level. 

We need people who are looking for a move to a much more entrepreneurial business where your remit will be broad and cross functional due to the size of the business. We want people who are hungry to learn and make mistakes in order to really see their results come to fruition. 

You'll be a real team player who'll help drive the business in line with the strategy. However, most important of all will be your very real interest in the health foods and sports nutrition markets. If this sounds like you please get in touch.
