National Account Director - Grocery or Convenience
We are pleased to represent a category leading FMCG business on a search for 2 high performing account directors.
The positions will be either in the grocery or convenience sales teams, managing between 10 - 20 account managers on specific customers.
Candidates must have strong leadership and strategy experience from a large FMCG branded business.
- Lead and manage a high performing customer team
- Understand the insight dynamics to develop customer strategies
- Develop and manage customer plans and JBP's in line with business objectives
- Develop and improve ways of working, championing sales across the business
- Support the account managers in developing strong relationships with the customers
- Understand the needs to the customers to aid brand management in developing a leading NPD pipeline
- Ensure full training and succession plans are in place for direct reports
These are high profile roles across the business. To ensure success, candidates must have a proven track record and experience in the following:
- Strong branded FMCG customer management experience at a strategic level
- Proven track record in leadership & management and team development
- Analytical and data analysis experience
- Strong negotiation and JBP implementation experience
- Be an excellent communicator with ability to bring teams together to achieve the common goal
