A market-leading Kitchen Equipment Manufacturer seeks a commercially minded Chef with sales experience to represent its business in Yorkshire.
As a market-leading business within the UK and across Europe, our client offers an incredible opportunity for a Chef to join its award-winning team. It is an opportunity to step out of the day-to-day kitchen role and take advantage of additional skills that have been developed in either a sales position or a client relationship role you may have been responsible for.
The role of Regional Sales Manager has you managing the Yorkshire area, liaising with a network of dealers and distributors in order to complete the successful sale of Combination Ovens. Excellent communication and customer relationship skills are a necessity.
Supporting the dealers and managing the sales process along with customers that come from independent restaurants, contract caterers, hotels, casual dining chains, QSR's etc. you will be targeted on live cooking demonstrations converting into orders.
For this, we need the following from you as a candidate:
- Experience of working within a variety of professional kitchens
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong presentation and communication abilities
- Experience of managing commercial activities in either a sales capacity or financial management role within restaurants
- A thorough understanding of the foodservice landscape in Yorkshire
- A genuine and passionate desire to utilise your Chef skills in a commercial arena
- A full driving licence
This role sees you working with a variety of customers with Cap -Ex budgets, as well as Dealers that manage the sales process with your support. It is your responsibility to ensure that the entire region has support and information required and that the brand is represented well. Travel throughout the region and cooking demonstrations to an engaged yet demanding audience will make this position appealing and rewarding if you have the commercial acumen as well as the core Chef skills.
