Area Sales Manager (North) – Pet Food Industry

Field Based Role

My client is a unique producer of Pet Food, the company have an exceptional reputation for innovative production of their product range that makes them stand out across the Pet Food industry. The company are growing rapidly with 40% year on year growth figures and a growth plan to reach £100m over the next 4 years. The company has been heavily invested recently by a large manufacturer of Pet food. Our client can offer a great open, friendly and honest culture where you can thrive alongside other members of the sales team. The business are in a position to add a Territory Sales manager covering the North of England to their growing sales team

As Area Sales manager you will be responsible for developing an existing portfolio of accounts including independent Pet shops and Garden Centres. The role will be predominantly servicing existing business however there may be a small element of new business development also.

In order to be considered for this opportunity you must have great people and sales skills, a proven track record of delivering results in a target driven environment. You must have a can do attitude, be a self-starter and a good relationship builder with a consultative approach. The successful candidate will already be an Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or something similar, managing a territory and can demonstrate a proven track record of achieving KPI’s. The ideal candidate will already be working in the Pet industry and have a network of contacts already.
