Category Executive

Our client is a leading FMCG food brand and has achieved consistent growth through focused new product development initiatives and some unforgettable marketing campaigns. As a major player within their category and at the forefront of innovation they see Category at the forefront of their commercial growth. They are now looking to grow their Category team and bring in a high potential Category Executive who is capable of adding real value to the team.  

Reporting directly into the Category Controller, this position will give you excellent exposure into the market. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to interpreting market research data (IRI, Kantar) to identify opportunities within the market. You will support Category Plans and Range Reviews within Key retailers and support the vision for instore execution. Supporting the merchandising strategy will also be key within this role from planogram creation and maintenance to providing space to sales analysis toolkits for the grocery channel.

The successful candidate will currently be in a Category Executive or junior agency side position within the FMCG sector. You will have experience of working with a top 4 UK grocery retailer and have excellent presentation skills as well as experience of analysing and interpreting agency data.  Being a team player and having strong interpersonal and analytical skills will also be key attributes to make you successful within this role.
